Octane Infinity 91, Mondays Indis 63

Things were just clicking for the Octane Infinity against the Monday Indis at The Courts in Beaverton, OR, last Monday, September 15, 2008. Between scoring the most points and committing the least turnovers in a single game in their team history, the Octane Infinity were just too much to handle for the Monday Indis.

The Octane Infinity built up a 13-point lead by half time. Then despite David Camp’s mini-ejection in the second half, the Octane Infinity still managed to increase their lead to 28 points, overwhelming the Monday Indis, 91-63.

“My favorite of the night was Scott’s steal and drive to the hoop,” recalled David Camp. “Highlight material!”

Chris Turman had a great all-around game of 18 points, 16 rebounds, six assists, four blocks, and two steals. Mike R. lead the team in scoring with 30 points, shooting 6-of-12 from outside the three-point line. John Le and Jonas Reyes both added 14 points each.

“While we had the game early on, we really demoralized our opponents with Jonas’s fast break 2’s, Mike’s open 3’s, and John stroking too from the outside enroute to 4/6 from beyond the arc,” stated Edwin Tanedo. “This is John’s last game for this season, so nice way to go out big fella, the Bomb!”
