Octane Infinity 60, Pine Riders 46

30 06 2008

The Octane Infinity wasn’t going to let history repeat itself against the Pine Riders last Monday, June 30, 2008, at The Courts in Beaverton, OR. The last time they faced each other was only a few weeks ago with the Pine Riders coming away with a decisive victory. But the Octane Infinity was ready for them this time around.

The Octane Infinity took the lead early and never looked back. After taking a commanding 16 point lead at the half, the Octane Infinity stayed aggressive and held on to win, 60-46.

Mike R. led the Octane Infinity with 24 points, hitting six three-pointers. Chris Turman had a big night, scoring 18 points, grabbing 18 rebounds, and blocking three shots. Turman’s rebounding was complemented by teammate David Camp, who snagged 19 boards, eight of which were on the offensive end.

“I think that was the best game we’ve played,” commented Camp. ”Great job all around.”

The Octane Infinity were without guard Adam Crane and forward John Le.
