Octane Infinity 31, Mentor 65

16 06 2008

Outscoring Mentor in the second half 27-21 wasn’t enough for the Octane Infinity to secure the win at Life Christian School in Aloha, OR, last Monday, June 16, 2008. The first half deficit was just too much as the Octane Infinity endured their weirdest first half in team history. On the bright side, despite the team’s poor field goal percentage, each Octane Infinity player did manage to score.

Chris Turman led the Octane Infinity with 10 points, 13 rebounds, and five steals. Marcus Berger picked up 12 rebounds and four points on 2-of-3 shooting.

“Nice to see everyone score and though I’d like to forget this game, I’ll always remember it for the Twilight zone 1st half, especially since our warm up crunch game Mike and Chris were on fire hitting everything they put up!” remarked Edwin Tanedo.

The Octane Infinity were without center David Camp and guard Adam Crane.
